Dear Experts, Please solve my query.
A civil appeal pending in High court in which i am the 5th respondent. In this appeal I have neither appeared before nor engage a lawyer till now,(other respondents engaged lawyer)the appeal is still pending in High Court.Now,
1. Can i appear In-person in my case?
2. Can i argue In-person or can I file a written argument?

Yes u can appear In-person and can argue your case.

Yes Mr.......you can appear in person, you can argue the matter or file written statement.

In your case or case against you, you have full right to appear and argue in person. That you can request the judge while appearing. Any advocate hired for argument is merely an authorised representative to understand the complexity of law during proceedings.

Yes you can appear in person and argue the matter in person But In supreme Court you have to seek the permission for doing this unless if you are not advocate on record

Even in Supreme Court you can appear in person and argue. You need not seek any prior permission.
