Dear Sir's
I had applied for a passport & as i was not sure of the consequences by mistake i had submitted the same long with a wrong SSLC marks card & its now amounted to forgery, the RPO rejected the application & sent my file to MEA (Ministry of external affairs), this happened in Nov 2010, now as per a friend in the police department in my area, they have received an e-mail from RPO, i would like to know, what would be there in the mail, are they going to file a case on my name or is it a mail to call & warn me, i am in dilemma, please let me know what kind of measure should i take to avoid future embarssments as none of my family members know these.
Please help me if any one has gone through such case.
Please, Please

First of all you have made an mistake of placing false SSLC marks card and this amounts to forgery as ignorance of law is no excuse. Try to close the matter convinving the officals but as you have told that there is a mail reveiced from RPO. You cannot predict what it could be, the person who told you this try to get information frm him. or else just write an application that all this has happened because of misunderstanding and the marks listy was wrongly attached. if only attached and if you have corrected the smae and done any type of overwirtiting then you are screwd. then you have to face the consequences. hence if only attched then you have no of reasons were you can come out of allthis. exactly what have you done just attached another marks list or forged the document i mean made changes ion SSLC marks list.
