DEAR SIR,

I AM AN RTI APPLICANT WHO HAS BEEN DENIED INFORMATION BY SBI LUCKNOW EVEN AFTER ONE AND A HALF YEARS OF PASSING OF THE CIC ORDER.!!

i hOLave lodged a complaint to cic under sec 18.

I AM TOLD AT THIS FORUM THAT SIMULTANEOUSLY I SHOULD FILE AN APPALICATION WITH THE CPA SEEKING COMPENSATION OF RS 50000/- FOR MENTAL AGONY ETC.

I HAVE ALSO BEEN PROVIDED BY A NOTICE FORMAT.

MY QUERIES ARE :-

1. IS A NOTICE NECESSARY ? I AM TOLD BY A LAWYER FRIEND THAT A NOTICE IS NOT NECESSARY AND I CAN FILE A DIRECT APPEAL WITH THE CPA2.

2. CAN I BE PROVIDED BY A SPECIMEN OF THE APPLICATION FORM UNDER THE CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT

2. No special format is required. Your advocate would be equipped enough to draft such petition. In the even you do not wish to engage any advocate then visit the local consumer forums and meets its officials. They would help you to draft the complaint.
