Without seeing the job contract it is difficult to advise on this. Any body on breach of contract move the court for damages or penalty.

firstly the parties are bound by the terms of the agreement.
but by using the agreement the company can not black mail you when there is some sever medical problem with you.
give a detailed application to the relevant authority in the company and simultaneously stop the payment of the cheque but without informing the company.
if the company does not cooperates then leave it at your own, let them take some action....it can be defended....a mere agreement can not put your life at threat...but keep in mind the medical grounds shall not be superficial....there must be strong reasons and strong evidence to support your claim.

Solution to your problem would lie only if you can prove any illegal provision in the bond, which you can verify with the help of some experienced lawyer by showing the bond document.
