Passport -certificate for dob proof

Dear Sir,

I am applying Passport,Currently I dont have SSLC/HSC certificate for DOB proof, I have degree certficate with marksheet, Need your advice to proceed, any affidavit is possible to produce.pls help.

If you have marks-sheet duly issued by Board of School Education then there is no problem to obtain SSLC. First obtain it or your original birth certificate from municipality.

Birth Certificate from Municipality or your SLC only can help you. Dgrees don't contain DOB. If you have lost the SLC, you may have to apply for duplicate certificate of your SSLC/HSC, as the case may be. But for that purpose also, you will have to make a complaint with the police about loss of your SLC.
