Demand notice issued for short payment under two the catagory of service i.e cleaning service and manpower recruitment service.Representation made by the assessee to the deppt that such cleaning service is exempt from service tax and the another service is not cover under manpower recruitment.But the dept issued order demanding tax under the head manpower service in the place of cleaning and business auxuliary in the place of manpower recruitment without giving the assesee for further representation.Is such an order is valid ?

In case there is demand against u/co.first of all obtain assessment order then appeal before the appellate commissioner and argue about there, who will give you relief

Against the order you can appeal the appellate commissioner and explain your nature of works and business. They will consider the fact of the case, even fail in appeal then appeal in the high court regarding it and get re-leaf
