Time limit for charge sheet filing

1. FIR registered U/sec 419, 420, 469, 448, 506 & 34 IPC, what is the time limit to file the charge sheet?

2. The named accused in the FIR has obtained anticipatory bail, FIR is 2 years old, charge sheet not yet filed. In this situation what legal steps the named accused can take?

Refer Sec 173 and 468 of Cr P C.
it is duty of every I O to forward a charge sheet as soon as investigation is completed. the Magistrate will not take cognizance after expiry of period of limitation.
In ur case the punishment prescribed for the alleged offence is more than one year. Therefore the limitation is three years.
