Weightage of recorded phone call

(Querist) 18 October 2012 This query is : Resolved
Please advice whether admission of certain things on a recorded phone call be made ground of evidence in family matters?
The wife during her conversation accused husband of some charges, which he repeatedly said o.k. I apologise for the inconvenience just to pacify her. Whether it amounts to admission?

Recorded conversation is admissible in evidence but for the voice is to be proved by FSL unless admitted by the other party.

Thanks for the reply. Please advice can the defendant submit to court to extract phone call on a particular day. As in this case the girl herself admitted that there was someone in her life and she dont want to live with her husband. But husband did't record the same. Whereas the girl recorded as the previous conversation to make her case strong.
Can the husband request to court that on a particular date the girl herself admitted the fact and these call must be listened to adjudge the facts.

If the same was recorded then , it is no more possible to retrieve the conversation now.
Without prior intimation the telephone companies do not record conversation.
