Csr copy to fir file for loss of mobile

Hi,

I lost my Samsung Mobile S4 which cost 44,000 on Friday 08/23/2013 and Filled complaint and they given CSR copy Still Now I don't see any response from police. Whether I have to file FIR or whether they will take Initiate and they will find the mobile and they will call me? What are the steps I have to do from My side to get Back my Lost Phone.

The police is unlikely to do anything to recover your mobile. If it is insured then place claim for it.
You can only make prayer from your end with hope that the thief or the person getting hold of your phone would call you to hand it over.

It is doubted that police would take some effective steps to trace the mobile. Agree with the expert.

Let us not underestimate our police. There are cases where they have traced and handed over mobiles.

Hope he will Put sim So I can trace it easily once I got his Number then using that we can give to police and we can try rite. Some of my friends got the phone but My question to you all is It is police duty to find my Mobile why they not concentrating much on these so what is a Issue. Whether any chance is there if we move through Lawyer?. If that guy put sim i will get his number will I give to police or will I track Him which one his best as well as why they not fileing FIR only giving CSR

in the matter of lost & found is not a crime normally fir is not maintainable however if you report as stolen the mobile!
