Want to keep my parents away from my flat

(Querist) 06 September 2013 This query is : Resolved
Hi,

I own a flat and have told my parents to stay away from this flat as they are a big disturbance. Despite this, they came to my house when I was in office. I went to the police station to complain about this. But they said you would have to send a legal notice to your parents before filing a complaint. Can anyone one tell me what is the format for a legal notice, and what all would need to be done (if anything apart from drafting and sending it) to send a legal notice to my parents?

where are they supposed to live otherwise?

They must be repenting or would repent on receipt of your legal notice as to why they were not childless couple!

The question arises, when you are not employed, how and with whose resources you could purchase a flat where you don't want your parents to come even, what to say of living with you in that flat?

Even if you give a legal notice to keep them away, they are still your liability under the provisions of law to be taken care of and maintained in their old age.

we do not advise such querists who dont respect their parents .
they have cared for you all these years sacrificed a lot to give you all material comforts .

now when they are old it is your duty to take care of your parents .

it is sad commentary on Indian Police that they have failed to put you behind the bars despite offence being congnizable

I strongly condemn you who want your parents not to come to your house. Remember those days when only your parents had sacrificed for your happiness in the life.

Dear ABC, You came to this world and could own a flat only because of your parents. Don't get rid of them if they are in needs.

"I own a flat and have told my parents to stay away from this flat as they are a big disturbance."
Please think if your parents nurtured the same feeling when you were child, what would have been happened? You own a flat - wherefrom? Either with the money of your parents or your own money. How could you earn money unless they brought you up to this level.
A person who says parents are a big disturbance, has no right to live on the earth as life is acquired through parents.

Do not drive your parents to nurture a feeling instead of having a son like you, they should have preferred childless. Material comforts are temporary. You will be in their place in the course of your life. Imagine your plight and start thinking righteously.
