IPC 498 and divorce

If 498 case is running on husband family but wife want divorced so 498 case is running or not and what impacts on case

Dear,
It is depends upon ur wife, if she agreed to drop proceedings against u. But If you want to settle all the cases then prepare ur wife for joint affidavit of settlement before divorce pending against u and ur family.

If both agree, go for mutual consent divorce with condition of withdrawing the cases.
