am sunil .I applied for hatway broadband connection for 3 months plan I paid money on 31/05/2016 but till DATe they didn't provide connection.before taking money the agent didn't tell about the feasibility of connection.after nextday I call to customer care of hatway they assured me with in 24 hrs your problem will be resolved but it doesn't happen and I am compiling the same for next 5 days the telling the same but till now they didn't provide any connection.after 20 days I sent a lawyer notice they cal me back and telling false reasons and saying that they don't have my details and also saying that the copy of receipt is not there.after I told the hatwY a/c no they told me come to theoffice and tak3 the amount .I told them u telling wrong in my building already hatway connection was there then why u r not giving connection to me and I also told the executive I am not satisfied with u r reply and I will move to the consumer court.after 3 months I registered complaint on nationalconsumerhelpline they give me company mail I'd and the nchline executive advised me to send mail to that .I sent mail to that mail. I'd along with complaint no.they called me back and saying that we ready to refund u r money .after 3 months they were ready to pay money back ...can I seek any compensation for deficiency of service and mental agony? If there how much can I ask...?I registers complaint online where should I ask compensation?

I have receipt for money.after receiving money they created my account on hatway .they sent an SMS for both money reveieved and account creation.

Sunil it is necessary to send notice through lawyer for the relief sought. After that u can avail other legal course.

I registered through online and how can I send lawyer notice .I already sent one notice through one consumer rights organisation.again it is necessary to send?

It is not necessary to send legal notice.
You have notified them for deficiency and your demands.
You also have SMS for of a/c creation, acknowledgment.
Apparently you can approach DCDRF.
Prefer to discuss with counsel specializing in consumer matters and show all record.

As the complaint was lodged only with the helpline instead of consumer forum hence only original deposited amount has been offered to be refunded whereas you are entitled even for the compensation so file a complaint in consumer forum which may take a time of more than 2 years to decide so think before you move ahead for such petty amount.

Sir. This is sunil kumar regarding above consumer case I approched rangareddy consumer court to register the case and I submitted the required documents and fee.after 2 months I went there they said that this case not this judistrction .I belong to kothapet ranga reddy judistriction and my opposite party was in another ie Hyderabad judistriction .the agent of hatway came to my home taken money and says will provide the connection with in one hour. What should I do sir.....please help me sir

Thank you sirs ....and thank you for your support....i don't have any lawyer......finally my case was registered ccno/352/2016 at ranga reedy court .they told me attend DEC 27 for hearing .for that is there any preparation needed I have only original receipt and mobile message .is this sufficient or any other documents needed .please sir let me know what should I do before hearing. Thanks once again.
