What is the procedure for stamp-duty refund?

An application within 3 months has to be moved with Chief Controlling Revenue Authority

Refund should be claimed within six months from the date of purchase of Stamp. Refund is granted on spoiled paper, blank document or document executed but afterwards found to be unfit due to some mistake. An application ,should be made to Collector of Stamps.

You have to submit the stamps to colletor of stamps if blank within six monthsfrom date of issue and if matter written over it within 3 months of date of writing but not exceding over six months of issue with prescribed application form.You will get refund only 75% of the facevalue of the stamps the tresury cheque will be issued on purchaser"s name
