DEAR SIR, I AM WORKING IN STATE BANK OF INDIA WITH MY OLD NAME AND I WANT TO CHANGE MY RECENT NAME IN TO NEW NAME AFTER MARRIAGE. I ALEREADY GAZZETED MY NAME CHANGE BUT OUR HEAD OFFICE SAYS ME TO FORWARD MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE. I JUST REGISTER MY MARRIAGE AND GOT CERTIFICATE BUT THE CERTIFICATE IS IN MARATHI LANGUAGE AND ALSO IT IS ISSUED BY GRAMPANCHAYAT SO PLEASE TELL ME IS IT LEGAL DOCUMENT FOR NAME CHANGE EITHER IT IS IN MARATHI LANGUAGE.

Get the aforesaid marriage certificate translated and notarized from Notary public. It shall be a legal document and shall complete the requirement of the department.
