i need passport with in a month. i already inquired in passport office about the doc i have to submit.
for the address proof, i have only ration card with me. i have pan card. but they said they wont accept pan card. and bank pass book with 6 months usage.
so is it possible for me to join in my fathers account to create a joint account and show it as a proof of address. ?and any other address proof i can submit. pls i need passport for my new company. my joining date is arriving and have no time.

what about your electricity bills ! simply if you r not having passport you can write to company take time for it ! what about your voting card ?you can do but they can refused it !

Any of the following documents will be sufficient : Applicant’s ration card, certificate from Employer of reputed companies on letter head, water /telephone /electricity bill/statement of running bank account/Income Tax Assessment Order /Election Commission ID card, Gas connection Bill, Spouse’s passport copy.
As regards your specific querry about inclusion of your name in the Bank account, you have to approach the concerned Bank along with your father. They will include your name at the written request of your father (account holder) and convert the account into joint account. You can ask the bank to issue new pass book with 6 months transactions or issue a statement of account for the last 6 months (even more than 6 months) after inclusion of your name. This is sufficient.
