Maintainence of Flats

If in Flats there are 3 commercial shop and others are residence. so what is the law saying about monthly maintainence charges will be equal to same if in one of the flat there is staying one old widow woman and in other flats there are 4 to 5 members in each flat? For your ready reference I am giving the details of maintainence charges of the flat is common light bill for passage light and motor for digging the water from ground floor to overhead tank... etc. Please advice

You did not mention the name of the State. In West Bengal,it is the area of the flat and not the members of the occupiers which determines the proportionate share of the flat owners towards contribution of the maintenance charges.

Thanks for reply.... In Gujarat at Vadodara and the Flat was taken before 7 years.One of the flat members are collecting the maintenance charges every month. but 2 flat members are having 1 + 1 shop and 3 flats though they are giving only One flat maintenance charges is it correct thing?
