Evidence before Final Report

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 17 April 2011 This query is : Resolved
Can husband provide evidence against allegation before final report is submitted to court.
Is police bound to register evidence provided by husband before submitting final report.
If evidence is not taken in account what remedy husband has.

Though it is the duty of police to accept all these documents for fair investigation. But if police is not ready, you may pray to higher police officials for the same, or may send documentary proof if any to concerned police station with registered post. But beware that don't provide them original document. You can submit them later in court or may use these for quashing the FIR or charge sheet, in High court.

Thanks arvind sir,

When I would go to police station, can I make list of evidence I am providing and plus list of witness to police . And get a sign off from person incharge.

I would provide a CD to police office, including picture/audio recording with my in law, phone bill which would prove I was not even in state on date where crime was alleged to be commited.

search "save indian family" on google.com and attend local weekly meetings. You will get both moral and legal support as it is very difficult to advise in few lines.
