Proprietorship

My Mother is the Proprietor of a Firm and the Power of Attorney for signing on cheque is with my Father. Now we are planning to open another firm where my father will be the Proprietor. Is it okay if my father has the power to sign on both the Firm's Cheque?

There is nothing wrong. All these things are as per the convenience of the parties.

THERE IS NOTHING WRONG IN IT. A PERSON CAN BE A PARTNER OF PROPRIETOR OF DIFFERENT FIRM AT SAME TIME.
