Im a student, got problem with vodafone

i got huge bill in vodafone.. pls help

Change the service provider. that is the only solution.

vodafone services are the best . you cna request vodafone to submit itemised billing for moth when your bill was huge .

analyse the bill and if you have not made calls to numbers mentioned raise the issue with service provider .

Bills amount may vary for your use,but if you think that it was fake bills then you can send a legal notice to the Vodafone calling them to send details,if they would not comply then you can file case in consumer forum.You should change the Service Provider.

If you used it, Pay it.

Otherwise ask for bill breakup, and contesnt it.

You can lodge protest with their in house grievance redressal which though hardly help.
Else TRAI is there for your assistance.

I believe, it is POST PAID_ BILLING service.

I found Following Difference in pre paid & post Paid Services, irrespective of Service Providers:

POST Paid:
1.You pay in Adv for a month,they r using ur money
2.You also incur bank chg.
3.Suppose you use 1000/- You pay Service Tax, so say 1150/- losing your 15%?? May be 12 1/2% ?? [I am tax zero]
4. You have this danger, someone hack, make international calls, or in any way, very huge Bill cases came to me, and I have to File Complaint to Telephone Regulatory Authority at Delhi.
5. Just to getr out of services, I have to run pllar tompast taking 3 months , and continue pay nnecessarily.
I did not get any actual benefit.
150 Local minutes free woth Rs. 150/- per month, also means my usual calls of 5-7 seconds that otherwise cost me 5-7 paise!!not Rupees.

Now in
PRE PAID:
You know immeditaely what is charged of call & your balnce.
No Service tax of 12.5% so save. If Refilled for Rs. 888/- you get 888 talk time.
Sometime with offer they give 888 for Rs. 777/- So save 12+12% i.e. 25%.
No chance of such sudden " huge bill"

Black money is used up for u and ur family mobile Bills, No Bill No Payments, No Entry to Tax My Taxmans & especially Lawyer's Fees!!

anybody can refill from anywhere , you need not know, who paid for it, if asked!!

So I am very Happy with my PRE PAID for Last many years, since I closed my Billing.

I agree with Mr.Shroff. Even I am using prepaid service and that is much better than the post paid in any sense.

In your case, you shall call for the call records and other details. If anythign is overcharged, that can be settled by visiting your local vodafone gallery. If that does not work out you can file a consumer complaint for unfair trade practice.

If bill pertains to calls not made by you or higher rates than contest else if u have used pay
