Share certificate query

I live in a co-op housing society in Sion, Mumbai. The share certificate has the name of my Grand mother, who has passed away. However, i need to know the procedure to transfer this Share Certificate on My name, as I am the nominee. Also, what is the procedure to transfer this flat on my name? What are the things i need to keep in mind?

You should present an application with your nomination, death certificate, receipts of deposits of up to tax etc. and should pray therein to change your name in the record of the society. Wait for the response of the society and act as per their bye-laws.

You just have to approach the managing committe of your society. All your issues will be solved there.

you must be having duplicate nomination form with an endorsement by society that nomination has been recorded in nomination register .
you have to make an application to the society enclose copy of nomination form , execute undertaking that you will abdie by byelaws of society . in addition socety may ask you to frnish indemnity bons .
