sir i have lodged a complain in p.s and on that basis a case has been registered .but accused are very influentialand they have probably influenced i.o also.i apprehend that documents that i want to submit may be tampered later by police.so i have said to i.o thati intend to make my mother and sister witness in seizure list.but i.o is saying that i cant make relative(mother and sister )witness in seizure list.sir i want to know is i.o saying right thing or he has some ill motive?.2)sir what other precaution should i take so that documents may not be tampered later?

1. While submitting documents take written receipt from PS. 2. If you feel aggrieved, you can apply for re investigation or for change of IO by higher authorities.

It would be better if you submit xerox copies duly attested by a notary without taking any chance about tempering with undertaking that as and when original would be required you shall produce them for comparison.Receipt can not be a guarantee to non tempering unless admitted copies counter signed by I.O.are preserved by you.

You should obtain the receipt over the zerox copy and should hand over the original documents because police may require some of those documents for verification in lab etc. wherein zerox copies won't work.
