A woman is entitled for permanent alimony amount after her marriage is dissolved by a decree of divorce until she has voluntarily deserted her husband or having sufficient source of income to maintain herself as per her status. She can apply for this after many years also provided she is not married to anyone subsequently. As far as share in the property, is a matter under serious controversy, probably the matter will not be considered to be passed by the government due its stiff resistance and opposition among the women members itself.

Nothing more to add.
