Hello,
I have been through a flat in Handewadi named Kohinoor Govindraj which comes under Gram Panchayat as agreed by the builder. This is a newly constructed apartment and banks have no issues in providing the loan as it seems the project was pre-approved by leading banks.
I am in doubt if it is safe to buy a property in gram panchayat. Please could you advise as soon as possible..

Yes, especially investing under such projects, a careful planning like getting a proper legal opinion based on the papers by a lawyer would be an essential criteria to be safe and secured about the same.

Mere location in Gram Panchayat will not deter purchasing the property if all other conditions are fulfilled. Sometimes, though it is in Gram Panchayat, because of Urban agglomeration, certain permissions/approvals are required from the controlling Urban authorities also. Any local advocate can verify the documents, plan and approvals and advise you suitably at nominal fee.

Thanks for the suggestion. I found it very helpful. How much would be the recommended fee for the lawyer?
