I qualified my ITO ( departmental Exam) in 18 12 2013. Can i eligible for promotion of ITO for the vacancy of F.Y. 2013-14. which DPC conducted on June 4, 2014.

further you have not stated that for which post the DPC is being conducted and what are the EQ for the post and whether you otherwise meet the same.

Dear Amit Rai,
You are quite aware that some court cases are still going on consequent to the decision in N.R.Parmar's case.
You have to await the final outcome.
In any case, within your departmental circles, you will be now aware about the position. There is no point in simply putting this query here, especially when other experts are not expected to know the exact intricacies. Further more, yours is a qualifying examination, not a competitive examination. Therefore, first the seniority of the qualified people, year-wise would be drawn. Then each year the Direct Recruits and Promotees would be accommodated according to the number of vacancies available in each year.
You may have to await your turn.

If there is no stay on holding a DPC your eligibility for consideration depends upon whether the promotion is bases the date/year of qualifying the exam, on seniority basis or on seniority cum fitness basis. So, you need to check the provisions of recruitment rules for the post of ITO.

First I thanked to all person who replied my querry. Actually after implementation of N. R. Parmar case I am senior from a lot of person who got promotion. posts are generated in F.Y. 2013-14.And I qualified my exam during the financial year. can I eligible for promotion against those posts which generated during thew F.Y.

@ Dhingra sir there are 2 recruitment rule first qualify the exam and 2nd 3 years completion of service at the post of inspector. I fulfill 2nd condition on 31st march 2012 and 1st condition on the date of 18/12/2013. notification of exam and result of exam both in F. Y. 2013-14. and generation of posts also comes in F.Y. 2013-14. DPC held on 04/06/2014 for the posts of F.Y. 2013-14.

Mr. Amit Rai,
DPC held on 04.06.2014 is supposed to be based on two aspects:
1) No. of vacancies up to 31.03.2013; and
2) From amongst the qualified candidates with three years of service available in consideration zone during the year 2012-13, as based on their CRs/APARs up to 31.03.2013.
Although you were having a qualifying service of three years as on 31.03.2013, but did not qualify the first criteria of passing the prescribed exam by the date of 31.03.2013.
So, you can expect your name in the consideration zone in any subsequent DPC, as would be based on the vacancies and CRs/APARs up to 31.03.2014, subject to vigilance clearace by that time.

vacancies are for 2013-14.
on 1.1.2013 you were not qualified. SO you cannot be considered on these vancies.
