Jurisdiction lies either in your area or the registered office of the cheat company. Refer to Section 177 and 182 CrPc.

The registered office is not relevant in the case of cheating. As the offence of cheating has taken place with you at your place of residence, the local police cannot refuse to initiate criminal action as per law but if it refuses, do file a criminal complaint before the local magistrate.

@Expert Shri Raj Kumar Makkad: Sir, the author is a Police Officer and the crime took place in a different area/jurisdction of police station whereas Registered Office is situated in jurisdiction of the police station where the author is working.
Mr.Rajendra K Goyal has rightly pointed that either of the SHOs can register FIR.
