Became member of zestbreak in 2010 and paid membership fees regularly. Want to cancel my membership and want balance in account refunded.
zestbreaks refuses to cancel and refund.
Want professional advice on the subject matter whether any legal action can be initiated to meet my requirement of cancellation and refund.

First of all go thru Refund Rules in case of cancellation by member.
Do you have the copy of rules as on date when you paid membership?

Refer the Rules of discontinuation of membership and refund of balance.
You can send registered letter along with email for discontinuation of membership and refund of paid extra amount.

Refund of Membership fees is only entertainable when the Membership Rules of the organisation provides for the same. Pl. refer your Membership doc. for such provision.

The refund rules on their website says that membership can be cancelled within 6 months of starting the membership, which I believe is unfair as I can consume the full value of the membership which is 60 days only after 10 years. One can use only 6 days per year.
But I was promised otherwise like transfer of membership, unfortunately I don't have anything in writing.
They haven't given in writing yet that membership is not cancelable

Find out the way out if any from the rules. if membership can be transferred, transfer the same and let new member proceed to cancel it in 6 months. Explore the possibility in this line.
Otherwise give clear notice for discontinuation of membership and refund of your security.
Agreed terms may not be challenged till discriminatory and one sided.
May discuss with local lawyer to challenge the decision of the concern if received.

Get into habit of transacting in writing under proper acknowledgment.
You mat relate refund rules as on date of membership and as on date of cancellation.
