I am from Kerala ,I want to know about legal procedure for starting an advertising company.

Get a degree in advertising/marketing/business administration. During that process, you will learn what you need to open an agency, anywhere in the world.

You need to register for
(i) profession tax,

(ii)statutory registration required under shops and establishments act

(iii)accredition from Registrar of Newspaper in India for getting credit facilities and added commission on advertisement.

You shall display the registration certificates in the office premises prominently.
