how to get army canteen card

My father was an army officer. he didn't get his army canteen card. now after 28-29 years later he wants to get his army canteen card. Kindly provide me the procedure and way out.

You need to apprise the facts to your local Zila Sainik Board besides submitting a representation to the Record office of the Arms where your had served. There is no legal issue attached to this query.

Procedure is very simple. Obtain the service credential verified from Centre (Record Office) and move an application to local Zila Sainik Board who after making all formalities completed shall forward matter to local army canteen and card shall be issued by them as per rules,

approach the Army Canteen nearest to your residence with the discharge certificate,pension book and the ex servicemen identity card.
