Our company has sold some goods to a man along with his son and they have in return given an undertaking on pile paper that they will deposit the amount in due time as discussed. The purchaser has given his address proof (ration card, Elec. bill) on which when we send legal notice it came back with message NOT FOUND , later when we inquired for him then we were shocked to know that person never resided their also the document given as address proof were forged. CAN WE FILE AN FIR AGAINST THE PARTY, UNDER WHICH SECTION AND WHERE AND WHEN

Yes you could lodge complaint for registering FIR under the charges of cheating, cheating by impersonation , forgery etc to your nearest police station. In the complaint before the police you need to mention the sections. It is the duty of the police to apply the appropriate section if it register the FIR.Engage an advocate for better result.

Approach an Advocate and initiate proceedings against the persons concerned. You can file a complaint for cheating and forgery.
