Dear sir,
My name is Arun Asponash and i belong to Schedule Tribe.I have qualified in the recent probationary officer exam conducted by Indian Institute of personnel selection with good marks.Indian Institute of personnel selection in its notification asked mere degree as eligiblity criteria to apply for the exam. Now The banks in their notifications for probationary exam they ask for graduation with 55% of marks for general category and 50% for reserved category as minimum qualification. I have only 40% of marks in my graduation where as I have two post graduations with 58% and 55% respectively. The online application set by the banks they don't accept the application just displays 'Your graduation mark does not meet the eligiblity criteria' when i tried to submit the application. In this regard i send letters to the general managers (HR)and the chairmans of the concern banks but i did not get any reply from them.I have come to know from various social forums that there are many candidates like me who don't have the required percentage of marks in their graduation where as they have post graduation with more percentage of marks than the percentage of marks asked by the banks in graduation.Kindly I seek your suggestion in the subject matter.
Thank you

If the Policy of the Bank does not give any priority to the person pf higher qualification then you can do nothing.

Your higher qualification in good percentage cannot be given due weightage if you do not qualify for the minimum qualification

The bank has laid down the policy for selection of their employees. You cannot claim any right to appear for the interview on the basis of higher qualification instead of required percetile of marks in the qualification which is asked by the bank.
