my father has ancestral vacant land for more than 50 years but during 3 months, some trespasser used to come there and start measuring my father's plot. due to this, my family is suffering from lot of problems.when we ask them about such activities they tell us, just checking your plot by believing that we hold extra land.
do we have any legal remedy for the above mentioned. plz suggest.

check your records .w wherether your land is demarcated properly . fencing is done .
keep security guards to prevent encroachment

make boundary wall around ur land and keep

security guards to protect it.

Obtain stay order against such elements from the proper court of law otherwise those tress-passers may even occupy your land and you may suffer a lot of harassment thereafter.
