Dv in india. residing in usa

Me and my wife had hindu marraige in India, bombay.
We were staying in USA for 5 years.
i went to india for some time ( about 20 days). there me and
my wife had fight. She has medical report done.
I am back in USA. She has filed a DV ( simple application) in India.
Both of us want to resolve the matter but she is asking
me to give written confession in police.
1) If she files an DV FIR in India can I be summoned by the indian law.
2) If i accept in writing can it be used against me in USA.

dont give any confession . it will be used by your wife against you . contest DV case on merits . you have to file an appearance before metropolitan magistrate court

I have some different opinion. Apology out of court will be the the best option for you, as court case on account of dv, if launched would be quite costly for you. In that case, USA would remain as dream for you at least till the court case goes on.

Try to settle the matter amicably. If mutual agreement before the police, signed by both finish the matter, try to finish the dispute.
