Heirship certificate

My father passed away four years back, i want to transfer our navi mumbai property on my mom,s name . whats the procedure to get heirship certificate?? how much is the time & cost for the procedure??

Are you a government servant or a private employee?If you are a government servant you can get it from Tehsil office or else you will have to go to civil court for the same,Take help from a local lawyer

Tehsildar issues such certificate. You need to apply it who shall refer the application to the local revenue officer to verify the contents and thereafter on the basis of his report, such certificate shall be issued. It may take 2-3 days to get such certificate and cost is very nominal say below Rs. 100/-.

RE:Dongare sir, Im private employee & im getting same reply from CIDECO officials to get it from civil.

CIDECO officials saying tahsildar certificate is not valid in case you want to transfer propert to your moms name.

I think CIDCO office might be requring either Release-deed or succession certificate. It shall be better to obtain the requirement of CIDCO in writing and then only to post your query.
