Legal notice from advocate

Dear Sir,
There is an ongoing case in lower court for Permanent Injunction and Partition Suite " , now cross of one of the defendants is happening our advocate has suggested that if plantiff advocate ask that " Had you receive any legal notice from plantiff advocate " then he has suggested us to say , " NO " that you haven't received any legal notice from advocate , only Court Notice they have received .
Please suggest if we say NO and its repercussion.
Please suggest if we say YES and its repercussion .
There council has sent the notices on both the addresses .
waiting for your suggestions .

We cannot read mind of your Advocate, nor have any facts before us.
O what law points your Advocate want to help you out is his secret..
As such please avoid cross check of us/ Advocates...
It goes against the Profssional ethics to guide you behind your duly appointed Advocate w/o his NOC.
