fathers debt repayment

father is still working but does not repay his debt, while there has been no property inheritance from him of any kind. Is there any legal binding for repaying his debts.Pls suggest

It is the debtors who should initiate action to get their debts repaid. You, as son cannot do anything for and on behalf of the debtors of your father. At the best, you may warn all the debtors that you are not in a position to repay the same, in case your father does not do so. And advise them accordingly to receive their amounts by legal means.

His salary could be attached.
