1 The petition could be filed by the petitioner or executor of the will. or by his appointed authorised representative or advocate or attorney registered on the original side on the HIGH COURT list.2 The death certificate concerned person whose will has to probated and other details regarding his properties and estates was in possession at the time of his/her death 3.In mumbai maximum amount of stampduty is Rs75000/=4. Filing of Petion , Apperance before Prothonatorry for authenication of Petition and satisfying the requirements queries relating to the petition 5. the parties relating as stated in para 1. 6 .If the will is unregistered then it has proved in proper court of law.
