False allegations

My wife left me one month ago to live in a PG for a private job. The relationship with my wife and her father has deteriorated significantly. Her father frequently calls my father and makes threats, saying that we both did blunder with his daughter , although nothing wrong we did. they are disrespectful and doing cruelty. He is just trying to scare us so that I leave my father and start living with my wife who is big disrespectful girl. what if her father or her daughter files a false FIR against me and my dad, what should we do in advance to protect ourselves from false allegations

You asked the Police that your wife and her father file an FIR against you with false allegations, so they won't call you when they come to the station. You'll be able to defend your written statement with evidence. Could you consult a local advocate?

If they lodge false criminal complaint then you obtain anticipatory bail and then challenge the false case on merits.
