(Querist) 29 January 2018 This query is : Resolved
I'm branch manager in nationalised bank. I did not hoist flag on 26th Jan. I want to know is it compulsory to hoist flag on 26th Jan.
One local group has protested in front of my branch and demanded for legal action. what legal action can b taken on me. what are the way outs for me.

No action can be taken against you, just ignore all the hooligans protesting and if need be inform local police about them.

My guess, you cannot be a branch manager of a bank. Had you been a branch manager, you must have known the code of conduct of the organizartion, specially as the branch head, and would have approached your superiors for guidance instead of appearing at the LCI with a vague post.

Sir, Please tell me only WHAT LAW says in this regard. What are the legal implications?
Guest (Expert) 30 January 2018
Please check the prescribed policy, rules and regulations of your own banking organization. Presently, you don't have any legal problem. If some legal action is taken by anyone, the charge sheet itself would contain the section or rule under which misconduct committed is considered on your part.

Well advised by experts, I agree.
Before handing over as Manager of the Branch your bank must have conducted "some" ethical classes.
