found stick in car by police

Sir,

A person is in the business of logistic and dealing with different peoples. If he is carrying or having a hock stick or baseball stick in his car ever then it is an offence?

Please advice.

No it is not an offense to carry baseball stick or logistic,,,more so when he is dealing in the business of same.......

It is not an offence so long as Section 144 of Cr. P. C is not enforced in that particular area.

It is not an offence to carry them and use them for right purposes. If it is used for other illegal purposes,then they would be termed as weapons and arms in law by the police.

it is not any kind of offence.anyone is free to carry a hockey stick even when he is not dealing people with the business of the same.it is not any crime for a single person to carry hockey stick even if he is planning for any kind of crime because preparation of crime is not any crime except dacoity which may be done by 5 people.

Hockey stick is not a weapon. As such carrying the stick is not an offence.

If the intention of carrying is to use it as weapon, then it shall be offence.

But the burden of proving the intention lies on the person who charges/ accuses the one who carries the stick.
