Help regarding scheduled caste certificate

my regards to everybody,
sir, I am AJIT and I need your kind advice. Actually sir, I belong to Scheduled Caste and I have a sc certificate for the same but the problem is that, in all my educational documents, my father's name mentioned as "VIJAY KUMAR" but in my sc certificate my father's name is mentioned as "VIJAY SINGH" as my sc certificate was issued on the basis of my father's certificate .
I need a solution for the same from all of you.
as this is creating problems for me
I am selected for the pharmacist job in railway against the sc quota reservation, and I think that this might get me in some trouble and I might lose a very important opportunity of my life.
as suggested by someone, I have issued an affidavit from the public notary that "VIJAY KUMAR" and "VIJAY SINGH" are both the same person. would it be sufficient.
or should I go for obtaining a new sc certificate
please help me, I need your precious advice

Get a new caste certificate. Thats better solution for your problem than the affidavit way...

Better get issued a new caste certificate.

Obtain caste certificate as per local procedure and only then move ahead as desired.

ok I will surrender my caste certificate and go for issue of new caste certificate
but since my father's name in his caste certificate and all his documents is "Vijay singh".
can I apply for a new caste certificate of mine, mentioning my father's name as "Vijay kumar"
if there is a way, then what is the procedure. please help me

procedure will be better informed by the tahsil office. Better go once there and find out.
