Is the clinic of a medical practitioner is commercial or residential, is there any act in this regard or any case law

PL SEE SC ORDERS IN THIS REGARD. PROFESSIONALS WERE ALLOWED AND ITS RESIDENTIAL ONLY IF NOT MORE THAN 1/3 IS USED FOR CLINIC.

Please look into the rules/regulations or master plan of the concerned area's Devlopment Auhtority. they provide as to waht shall be the proportion of a residential place where professional activity can be carried on. if that provides upto 25% then we cant use our residential plot for more than the said % for professional activity in the residential area. but this is not the case with commercial area where we can use 100 % of any commercial plot for professional purposes.
please have a check on your city's by laws. theres no apex court ruling on the said subject as per my knowledge.
