AS you had received salary of Rs 2,95,510 and RS6,064 as arrears comes to RS3,01,574 deducted the admissible deductions earlier shown inyour FORMNo.16 and and also received from arrearsRS 728/= find tax liability on this total income and the deduct tax already deducted if there is still refund of tax or to bbe paid thereon.Similarly you had not given proper in your queries . Apply the same method for assessment years 2005-06,2006-07,2008-09 as above and apply in FORM NO 10-E tou your assessing officers stating all the details and to recalculate the taxes and to assess your income since you had arrears in now in2009-10.

The Arrear Salary for the Financial Year should not be treated as Arrear Salary but current salary. For getting benefit for other years you are to submit Form No. 10E to your employer. The Provident Fund deducted from the arrear salary should be considered as payment during the year. It cannot be claim as relief for past years.
