market Value is 1 crore and book value is Rs. 9 lacs
and consideration is nil. it is in mumbai , at malad (west).
Sailesh Kumar Shah (Expert) 10 September 2011
where is the property situated?
Devajyoti Barman (Expert) 10 September 2011
Ask for the same from the concerned Registration Office as the stamp duty differs from state to state.
In Bengal it is 6% and 1.1% depending upon the market value as fixed by the Registration Office itself.

Apply to the concerned Sub-Registrar Office for valuation of the property and ask the value of stamp duty and registration charges to execute a Gift deed.
Ganesh Chavan (Expert) 10 September 2011
I agree with Experts but it is better to visit sub registrar office and inquire the Valuation of the property.

The value of stamp duty would be subject to law prevalent in the state where the property is,which roughly speaking including all expenses together with registration charges may count 10% of market value.
