How to file a complaint in a consumer court

Hi,
Kindly let me know the procedure to file a complaint in the consumer court. Does the different geography affect the complaint, eg: I reside in the different location and the organization against which I want to file a complaint, is in other part of the country ?
Do I need to present in physical to register the complaint or is there any other means to do so such as an internet site.

I would be highly obliged by your expert's advise.

you will have to personally visit the district forum to lodge your complaint .

the complaint should conatin detailed index , facts of case , reliefs claimed . you also have to enclose documents relied upon in support of your complaint .

if the deficency in service has occuered in district wherein you reside you cna file complaint in said district .

It s always advisable to engage Advocate to do it properly, though one can do it by himself, it is easier and better to go thru Professionals.
It also depends upon amt claimed.
