Apply for Encumbrance Certificate in the Office of the jurisdictional Sub-Registrar. After obtaining the Encumbrance Certificate, the registration particulars will be mentioned in the said Encumbrance Certificate. Based on the said information you can apply of certified copies of the documents.

How do you say that one property was registered on your father's name when you dont have any documents for this?
Your question contradicts to your own statement.
However you may retrieve the document once you get the survey number of the property.
