I forgot to cross indian postal order.will the postal order will be cancelled?

are the Indian Postal order has to be crossed? Is it mandatery?
Without it are the Indian postal orders will be cancelled?

I FORGOT TO CROSS INDIAN POSTAL ORDER. WILL IT BE CANCELLED?

Neither it is mandatory, nor the Postal Order will be cancelled if without crossing. The only thing is that the same can be encashed by any bearer of the postal order, like a bearer cheque.

BUT can any person can encash a postal order???

Any bearer can encash the postal order, if not crossed.

but I have fill up to whom to pay and also I have fill up the sender's address portion. But only thing I forgot that is forgot to cross it.
still any bearer can encash it?

I have sent the postal order along with examination application form through speed post

Crossing of any negotiable instrument is one of the safety measures designed to ensure encashment of funds remitted by the intended recipient.
So, as Mr. Dhingra has clarified there is chance of encashment of such instruments by any person who has access to it adopting fraudulent means.
