As Iam rendering my service in KARNATAKA POWER CORPORATION LIMITED as a helper on compassionate grounds , i have completed my B.E (Production engg) at shivaji university(Maharastra), kpc is considering B.E( industrial production but not production engg),many of our colleagues has been upgraded on same d qualification. plz suggest me can i approach to karnataka administrative tribunal regarding the same issue. orelse suggest me the alternative approaches.

primafacie You have no such right.
In compassionate job the qualification of candidate is relevant only to the extent :-
(i)if he is 8+ a peon job could be given Prima-facie you have no right worth going to court.
him if available or else any other available job.
(ii) If matric then a Gp-C post could be given if available provided he acquires the skill test if any prescribed for the post (i.e. typing for clerk post).
Once joined on the post then promotion avenues of that post are to be exploited. If you have higher qualification then none stops you from keep on applying for post in opoen competition suiting your BE qualification.
You have not indicated that what were the post held by the colleagues who were upgraded and to which post.

They were holding a helper post and they have been promoted as Assistant engineer in the corporation, the main issue is the branch, kpc is considering industrial production engg for upgradation but not production engg. but according to me both branches are one and the same. what are means to solve the conflict between me and corporation. plz help me out
