Intent to assault senior citizen

(Querist) 23 August 2013 This query is : Resolved
I am a retired GoI pensioner. The matter is trivial in nature and was expected to be settled amicably.
My neighbour was requested to park his Bolero in a manner that would enable me to drive past in my Maruti 800 as my house is in the middle of a 14feet wide road. Instead of obliging he became angry and spoke to me in threatening tones, which I ignored because of his young age of 32+ years but when his intent to assualt me was apparent I tried to calm him but failed and moved away. Nobody supported him in the area. Can I take any legal action for his grave misconduct in public ?

forget it . he did not physically assault you just spoke to you in threatening tones

Agree with the expert ajay sethi ji. Follow up of Legal action would also be troublesome for a senior citizen.
