Land acquisition

Hi,

I am from andhra pradesh.I am having 8 acres of land which is approved by hyderabad town planning for house site plots.I sold half of the plots in that land and i kept remaining myself.Now Can Govt acquire my land under land aquisition act ? Please explain in detail

Yest Government always has authority to acquire any land for the public purpose.

I do agree with Mr. Desai only up to some extent.

In Uttar Pradesh, if Layout Plan/Building plan has been approved by Authority, Then land can't be acquired.

If the land is already covered under State regional town planning scheme then under such circumstances , Govt can not acquire.
