Leakage from ceiling of bathroom & toilet

(Querist) 05 July 2013 This query is : Resolved
I am staying in II floor of a Flat in a housing society at Koperkhairne, Navi Mumbai. The entire buildings was constructed by CIDCO.

There is leakage of water from ceilings of bath room and toilet from the III floor flat. I have informed the matter to owner of the above flat several times. Also I have written to the housing society last week in this regard

Recently the housing society had covered entire terrace with sheets and hence there is no chance for rain water falling on the walls. .

Still there is no solution for my above problem. Also the condition in bathroom is severe as there is water leaking continousely through the side walls.

Kindly look into this and suggest what is to be done to resolve the abovbe issue at the earleist.

if in spite of repeated reminders society and flat owner not taking steps move cooperative court against society and flat owner . you can write to flat owner that you are willing to pay 50%costs of repairs .

first issue legal notice to HS to do repairs.

You are required to serve a legal notice to your neighbour and thereafter to move to cooperative court.

If the matter is not sorted out amicably, send a notice and after it file a suit.
